Architecture tells stories – stories of innovation, community, cultural identity, and the visionaries who shape our built environment. This April, the Arizona Preservation Foundation is proud to sponsor the 2026 Arizona Architectural Film Showcase, a unique three-night celebration that brings these stories to life through the lens of independent documentary filmmakers.

Arizona is facing a housing affordability challenge – and there is broad agreement that middle housing must be part of the solution. Duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and townhomes can expand housing choice, promote walkability, and support more inclusive communities. But housing policy must be done thoughtfully.

The Arizona Site Steward Program was created under Governor Bruce Babbitt and the Archaeology Advisory Commission to address a growing need: protecting cultural sites on Arizona’s vast public lands.
