2022-04-06

In the first installment of the Arizona Preservation Webinar Series titled "The Greenest Building," the focus is on the positive environmental impact of preservation efforts, specifically through adaptive reuse projects in Arizona. Utilizing vacant buildings effectively to benefit the community, integrating sustainable design practices, and minimizing waste are key aspects discussed. The webinar features insights from three experts: Jeremy Haines from the U.S. Forest Service's Rooms with a View program, Craig DeMarco, a restaurateur known for his distinctive dining establishments, and Corky Poster, an architect renowned for his firm's restoration work on various landmarks in southern Arizona. The session will include a Q&A segment and additional resources for participants.
